I normally "run" from my office (at the intersection of West Millbrook and Dixon Drive) around Shelly lake and back (a distance of about 3.75 miles. And by "run" I mean, I walk most of the way, with spurts of running.

Today, I ran all the way, with only two stops (at an intersection). I'm dripping with sweat and breathing hard, but I feel good.

Damn. I felt good when I ran 1.5 miles with 0.5% incline today. But I am not much of a runner.

Yes, well, I suspect that you more than compensate with your bodybuilding ability and shooting skill.

Thanks, but I'd also like to be able to make it 3-4 miles. I don't have aspirations to run marathons, but I think the ability to cover that amount of ground in a hurry will be useful. So keep posting about your running, shame me into working that angle. :)

Oh, I didn't mean to disuade you. I would certainly like to improve my less than Schwartzeneggarian physique. I will continue to post updates.

Good deal. FWIW, people posting about fitness and nutrition never bore me. I can't speak for anybody else on LJ though...

Shelly lake used to be one of my favorite haunts.

Yes, it's beautiful. You no longer live in the area?
