It was a late Friday evening. I was at home with my new Canon Rebel XSi, and I was trying pictures of myself. I heard that the EOS Utility that comes with the camera allows to control the camera from your computer through the USB interface. You can only download updates from the Canon website, which require you to have the original media available or an older version of the software installed. I left my original media at work, but I really wanted to use this tool tonight.

I know you guys don't REALLY watch my portfolio because of my weird political/artistic statements, or the photos of girls with their panties falling down. Know what? I don't really do photography for that reason, either. The reason I do photography is because when I see something like this, I want to record it forever, and pass it on to others.

This is an older photo I posted in another gallery last year. If I had to do it all over again, I\'d have her holding some white lilies in one hand. But the image works as it is.

Model is Irina. It took me nearly an hour to polish her fingerprints off the blade when we were done shooting but it seemed worthwhile.
I just checked with Irina and she says the tattoo is the chinese symbol for Good Luck
This was lit with a single large octodome to camera right, about 5 feet off the ground.

Anyone who attempts body painting quickly discovers the lack of useful information and dearth of practical materials to accomplish successful body paintings. This situation has improved in recent years. It is becoming easier to find good paints to work with.
Most traditional makeup techniques are incredibly messy and time consuming. It's not unusual to hear of a full body painting taking 10 to 12 hours. Eventually I learned of some better techniques that get the job done with a minimum of mess and time. -

I like the subscription model the FT has been using for some time now. I may get the exact details wrong but its the idea that's important anyway. You can visit the ft.com domain something like nine times per month for free. They cookie you and when you stop by the tenth time in a month, they ask you to pay. And many do.

If we were to create an asset class for "human capital" securities, how might we calculate it?
Well, we would probably add up the total market cap of all "stocks" in this potential market… which would be the equivalent of the collective market cap of ~6 billion people.
So what is the market cap for an individual?

2) I was a user of ma.gnolia. As you may know, ma.gnolia practiced poor backup strategies (as did I), so when their server crashed, all of my bookmarks for about 2 years were lost. By duplicating here, my wordpress site, and del.icio.us, I ensure that my links will exist in some form, even if two of those three services disappears.
