Dance Friday is underway and freestyle dancing has never been so fine. And, since it is freestyle dancing, you don't need a partner, or shoes, or rhythm (some people just roll around on the floor).

I discovered these assorted sleeping arrangements — and voyeuristic snapshots of New York apartments — not on a "Roommate Wanted" corkboard at a local market but on Airbnb, a nearly year-old Web site that opens doors previously closed to outsiders. The site works like Match.com for travelers, pairing those who need a bed with those who have one to spare.

Well, after all these years, I did a www.google.com search on fabrics, silver, reflective,,,etc. and found this company that seems to sell this great soft but anti-moisture mylar cloth.
The company is at www.AHH.biz I believe their other URL is: AmericanHomeHabitat.com
This fabric is called:
Heat-shield, thermal aluminum mylar CAT No. FH 1018
In the pictures of it, you will see a silver reflective side which is a mottled silver similar to the mottled look of a Norman reflector! The mottles are from large threads raising the silver material alittle. So, it is not a perfect mirror image silver, but rather a diffusive silver! Great!
I had to post this on www.photo.net as I feel this is a real find! Much better than aluminim foil! You can roll it up! You can clip it to a flat board! It rolls up! You can make it as wide and long as you can afford! Wanna fill-in something small or big? This is the stuff! The number in 2002 of the company is/was 1-540-710-9249.

So there you are in a studio be it a professional one or at home. You have so much to hold and keep track of, camera, light metre reflector or two……. now then where did I put my….. you could do with an extra pair of hands at times couldn't you? Well there's something on the market that might just be able to help.
I have in front of me a distinctive bright blue bag with a white logo on it - it can only be something from Lastolite.
In fact it's the new Mark II Triflector - a versatile 3 way reflector system that's designed to aid portrait photography and retailing for about £100 It allows the photographer to position each of the 3 reflective surfaces just about anywhere they need to. It's compact, lightweight and easy to use.

The Abundance League is a grassroots collaboration network of social innovators. Local chapter leaders host monthly salons that offer networking, guest speakers, and discussion about social innovation at all scales, from the interpersonal to the global social enterprise.
Gatherings have featured talks about clothing swaps, compassionate communication, poetry slams, storytelling, social entrepreneurship, public media, community gardening, transformational group travel, and more. And we’ve showcased artists, poets and musicians that inspire generosity, collaboration, and service.
The Abundance League embodies the idea that by exercising our social creativity, we can help each other connect to our potential, create lives rich in satisfying experiences, and turn scarcity into abundance. Abundance League is a salon, solutions showcase, and a model for those who share this vision.
