Yep. I did research on organ banking for about five years after I graduated from college, first at the Naval Medical Research Institute, then at 21st Century Medicine. This is one of the papers to which I contributed.

A compelling case for frontiers. I can see the appeal. And excuse this question if it was addressed after the hour mark (as far as I made it):

How does the Seasteading Institute intend on being within America's continental waters (worse, within sight of Pelosi!) and not be subject to government, regulation, etc?

I address the legalities in my talk, which is on the second disk. It should be up by the end of today.

In brief, the further you go from U.S. shores, the fewer laws apply to you. At 12 miles out, for example, U.S. gambling laws don't apply. So, it depends on what you want to do on your seastead.
