Femjoy, Met-art contacts?

A friend of mine asks:

“….I am considering doing some work for them. However, I found no contact info on any such web sites, nor have I found any info on the terms and conditions. I looked over Suicide Girls a couple of years ago — their conditions were unacceptable.

1. Does anyone have direct contact info for Femjoy, Met-art or similar?
2. Where would I look for suitable models? I prefer working with friends, but I not sure of finding even one available at this time. The shoots would be paid, obviously. I have not found any on Modelmayhem.com that I would consider useable — most look very bored with their work….”

I'm no expert, but if I'm not mistaken, those sites contract with a bunch of various photographers -- they don't take their own photos. You might have some luck looking for the photographers name (I believe they post that info) and contacting them.

Ah... after re-reading the post... is your friend a photog or a model? I assumed model but I don't think that's right. Either way, contacting a photographer directly might yield some info for both questions.

Yeah, modelmayhem is ...iffy.

He could try posting to sites like nowcasting.com or actorsaccess. (The best models are actors at heart, anyway. *wink*) There is also LACasting. But, of course, that's no help if he lives somewhere else....

I don't see a LOT of modeling jobs on backstage.com, but it's not unheard of.
