Reminds me of the phrase: Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result . . .

It's something used in AA as a way to attempt to change behavior, if you want a different result, try a different behavior . . . and as the cartoon so well demonstrates doing the same same thing over and over is also science

This very cartoon hangs, framed, in the foyer of the Sponsored Projects office at Dartmouth. We deal with personality #2 on a DAILY basis, and dear LORD is this depiction ever accurate. *grin*
