If you know anyone who is willing to be a delegate in West Virginia or Ohio, please contact the campaign as soon as possible!
Via the dailypaul:
The winner of the West Virginia GOP “primary” will be determined in the next 10 days. This is because November 30 is the DEADLINE for people to register as delegates, and delegates will determine the winner of W.V., NOT an up-or-down vote.
West Virginia is an important state because it will be the first state to announce it’s winner on Super Tuesday, February 5th, thus affecting the outcome of other states still in voting, such as California on the West Coast.
Imagine if Ron Paul could WIN a seemingly unlikely state? IS THIS POSSIBLE!?!? Yes. But we need a massive effort to inform people. The current delegate count in West Virginia:
Fred Thompson
62
Mitt Romney
62
Ron Paul
49
Rudy Giuliani
46
John McCain
9
Mike Huckabee
6
Duncan Hunter

Currently, Ron Paul delegates only make up 7.8% of the entire county-at-large (regular GOP members) delegation. There are 29 county-at-large RP delegates out of 372 total county-at-large delegates. We have the potential to fill every county-at-large delegate slot, BUT ONLY IF WE TAKE ACTION AND INFORM

We are now down to the wire in Ohio. If we don’t fill the slots below Ron Paul will be short on delegates for the convention. If you can fill one of the slots below please email Maryanne.
If you cannot please try and recruit someone.
Here is where we are short:
Congressional District 01 (Butler and Hamilton counties) — 2 females, 1 male
Congressional District 04 (Allen, Auglaize, Champain, Hancock, Hardin, Logan, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Shelby and Wyandot counties) — 1 female, 2 males

Date: 2007-11-27 01:57 am (UTC)As I may have mentioned, I've been active in the Ron Paul presidential campaign. Although he's not a perfect candidate,
I'm a big fan. Among other reasons, I support him because he voted against the war in Iraq, against warrant-less
wiretaps, and against Internet regulation and taxation. (If you'd like to learn more, check out an archive of his
speeches and articles at http://www.ronpaullibrary.com. )

As I understand it, there are over a 1000 delegate slots, and the Republican Party in West Virginia is having trouble
filling all of them. Therefore, anyone who files to become a delegate is almost guaranteed to make it, considering
not enough people want to become delegates in 99% of the counties.
So if you know of any libertarianish West Virginia Republicans, would you put them in touch with me?
Thanks for any help!
Chris
P.S. We also could use some more delegates in Ohio:
Congressional District 01 (Butler and Hamilton counties) -- 2 females, 1 male
Congressional District 04 (Allen, Auglaize, Champain, Hancock, Hardin, Logan, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Shelby and
Wyandot counties) -- 1 female, 2 males
