Hike the Geek: San Francisco Crissy Field

Okay, I haven’t figured out how to post to Hike the Geek yet, so here’s the details for this Sunday’s hike.

Date: Sunday, November 4th, 2007
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Crissy Field Center, San Francisco
Distance: 3.5 miles (easy)
What to bring: yourself + sun screen, water, hat, money (for breakfast)
Instructions: We’ll meet at the entrance to the Crissy Field Center at 9:00 a.m. After the hike, we’ll have breakfast somewhere nearby.

I can make it :) My house is about a half mile up the hill from Crissy Field, so if it is only us (+/- Matt) you can meet me at the house. Crissy Field and up the hill is more of a stroll than a hike, so if we want more hiking we could do the coastal trail as well or do Land's End instead.

We can brainstorm names for the hike group.

I'm overcommitted, on the other hand I haven't had a hike in a while. Since it'll be post DST switch, maybe I'll ride down (should take about two hours) if I can throw a bike in someone's car for safe-keeping?

Sorry I missed you! I got lost on the way there, and so I was late. (Which was why you didn't see me at the Center.) I didn't hear from you so I figured you had decided not to come. Sorry I didn't follow up better.
