Patton Oswalt's a great comic, but somehow his material is even better when delivered in the form of a Conan O'Brien interview.

He should do his entire next cable special that way.

That would not be unprecedented. Paul F Tompkins did an HBO special in which he was periodically asked questions by a bartender character.
