Thus, this rather interesting gadget is actually a pretty good thing for the trees and soil. After all, the alternative is not "they wouldn't cut down trees", but rather "they'd cut down trees using some bulldozer-like thing with tank treads, crushing everything on the ground as well, and at greater danger to human life."
