John Stone took pictures of himself every day for 479 days from January 6, 2003 until April 28, 2004, then every month on the first of the month to the present. He says that his physique changed solely due to diet and exercise (no steroids). You can watch a video of his transformation here. (2.4 MB Quicktime)

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not a big fan of dark tans either (whether real or from a bottle).

Thanks! I think he looks most proportionate in the middle pictures. In the later pictures, his head looks too small for his body.

I like how one day his chest hair just ... disappears! Zip! I'm glad to see he didn't get rid of the fun underwear.

Yeah, and later on, his leg hair disappears. :D

That's a very cool progression.

I'm amazed that he always had the same kind of underwear. I wonder if he started out that way, or if he deliberately settled on a style for these pictures.

I noted the necklace appeared when he started noticeably toning up, too. :)

The evolution of his neck muscles are kinda creepy.

I found it amusing to note the points where a) dude wanted to get all oiled up so he shaved his chest, b) his first summer when he was confident enough to go out shirtless and get himself a tan, and c) tan fading due to winter (I tried to find some holiday boxers in there, but failed). Very nice stuff, and his dedication is astounding.

That Titan thing is scary, though.

One of my friend linked me to his monthly pictures [so I guess it was about 48 of 'em] a week or so back, and it's weird how much simpler it is to see beginning and end side by side -- he leans out SO MUCH before he starts seriously bulking. He started out a schlumpy joe, became this hot lean muscley dude, then bulked way the hell out -- but when I see the schlump and the bulky finished product juxtaposed without the wiry version in between, it's nowhere near so jarring.
