can you even imagine being the poor schmuck in the truck? Or one of the folks that got through it just as it really blew?

Yeah, no kidding. I'd imagine that thing had a manhole cover of some sort on it too -- I shudder to think what might have happened had it landed in the wrong place.

i believe that the manhole cover is what actually stopped the truck. it appears to be in front of the truck when the water clears enough that you can see it.

Yeah, I saw that on break.com. And watch closely at about 0:18, you'll see the truck suddenly stop as it hits it. You can see it in front of the truck when the geyser dies down some.
