When I was in high school on the track team, I was biracial. I ran the 440 and the lead leg for the mile relay. Maybe that's what she meant?

I had a friend in HS who was from S. Africa originally -born there in fact and his family had lived there for over a hundred years before coming to America.

He stated his race as "African-American" in the yearbook and that started this HUGE controversy. He was the whitest guy I ever saw...

But alas, I can't help evillinn -I'm German/Norwegian/French mostly with only a smidgen of polish and Native American thrown in for spice.

That doesn't count for "bi-racial" these days.

Yeah, I had a (white) friend of mine from S. Africa try to join the "African Students Association" in college, but they wouldn't let him. Even though he was the only one there actually from Africa. Kicked up an excellent shitstorm.

I had a black friend from Botawana kicked out of the Afro-whatever club at the University of Waterloo because she wasn't "black enough".
