Hahaha. I don't know, I kind of enjoyed the whole killing off beloved characters aspect of "Serenity." Maybe because I had only seen eight episodes of "Firefly" at the time, so I wasn't a superfan. I loved that the sudden killing off of (cough cough in case someone has never seen it and wants to be surprised. Because seriously, once someone gave away the ending to "All Quiet on the Western Front" and just because 80 years have passed, doesn't mean it's not a spoiler) after the death of (That other person who is probably the fan least favorite) because in the case of the former, it was so horribly jarring. Basically Joss Whedon is an evil genius who I hate/love, because the whole ending of "Serenity" made me fear for all of the main characters' lives.
