This is just very disturbing. As long as you are following the law why should your weapons to defend your self be taken. Even in Iraq each house hold is allowed to have one weapon to defend their home.
Heck, Saddam allowed his citizens to own as many firearms as they wanted --up to and including AK-47's (at least according to footage shown on CNN in the days leading up to the war.)
Kinda runs counter to Rumsfeld's assertions that the people were planning some kind of mass uprising --any dictator that honestly feared that would have had firm gun control measures in place.
I don't have too much sympathy for those 2 guys. They could have killed a few goons if they really wanted. The intimidation of that old lady was disgusting. LEOs love to prey on the weak.
