Well, I imagine having your tongue slowly eaten away by a crustacean probably doesn't feel too pleasant. However, once gone, I doubt the crustacean causes much additional pain.

I wonder how the crustacean reproduces? What does it do when the host dies?

Maybe that's what happened to Gene Simmons tongue...
