[Raleigh] Adult Dodgeball tryouts
2004-08-17 03:24 pmIt's official: we're just about ready to roll. Barring conflagration, calamity, famine, pestilence or rain, "ADA Test Day" will be this Saturday, August 21st! Here are the 5 W's...
WHO:
You, Me, We, Them - the Adult Dodgeball Association!
WHAT:
"ADA Test Day."
WHEN:
Saturday, August 21st (weather permitting) - "Test Day" will begin at 2 p.m., continuing until 5, 6, or whenever we all get tired or bored and decide to go out drinking or something. :)
WHERE:
The multipurpose field at Marsh Creek Park in Raleigh. Marsh Creek Park is located at 3016 New Hope Road, between Buffaloe Road and New Bern Avenue. Beware though - it's a small park, and if you blink, you might miss the park entrance!
WHY:
To go over league rules, test the systems and barriers we're constructing (they're about 75% built; we're just waiting for the barrier nets to arrive) for outdoor play, organize groups of individual players into teams, and basically to organize the league.
Everyone interested in the ADA is encouraged to attend this event, have some fun, and get involved in the league. We hope to see you there!

Date: 2004-08-17 08:17 pm (UTC)This is the game where kids pelt those big red wobbly balls at each other, right? The game that used to make us all cry?
I might come to watch just to see if you cry :) :)
