An Evening With Terry Gross
2004-07-16 08:53 pmAh, the voice. That silky, calm, smart voice. I could listen to Terry Gross read from the phone book for hours. Her radio program Fresh Air has rescued me from numerous mind-numbing tasks. Yes, she has a liberal bias. The questions she poses to her conservative guests are much more pointed than those she lobs to her liberal guests. And it's amusing, because I don't think she thinks she has a liberal bias. However, she's much fairer than any conservative radio/TV personality of whom I'm aware.
Anyway, I just happened across this 2000 lecture she gave at Calvin college. Highly recommended to any other Fresh Air fans out there.

She doesn't look like a model, that's true. But I wouldn't kick her out of bed.
