Maybe... I understand CNN is now saying that they said it was faked (never mind the anchor saying this came from the prez). Somebody lied somewhere, but there is some doubt as to whether the liar was at CNN or in DC. Or perhaps CNN is taking the fall. (dons tinfoil hat) Anyway, it's good fodder for Dave to play with. I hope he gets the kid on his show.
True--maybe they're both lying. But given that the administration was caught faking news stories, I could see them lying about something like this. On the other hand, it seems an incredibly stupid thing to lie about, by either party, given the surfeit of corroborating evidence that must exist. So maybe it's just a gaffe.
In any case, I'd like to see the kid on Letterman too.
