This is cool. I have banned one person from posting in my journal and that is a nice feature. I don't think there are any people yet that I would go so far as banning from even LOOKING at my journal.

I don't think it prevents people from looking at your (public) journal. And I think that you will still appear in their friends list, if they've added you. What it does is prevent them from appearing in your "friend's of" list. So if goat_fucker friends you, you don't have to display it if you don't want to.
