You may have thought that RV's were a recent invention. However, as this 1921 Ford Model T converted to a mobile chapel demonstrates, RV's date from very early in the car's history. More fascinating early RV's can be found in the mobile home and camper section of the Old Woodies website.

Motorhome of God: 1921 Ford Model T converted to a movile chapel.

The crisp line where the "chapel" transitions to the car makes me think this photo is faked. Even the line of the man's shoulder is not that crisp. There is also pixelation on the roof line along the back. Why do people waste their time on stuff like this?

I think that the pixelation is due to compression artifacts. I think that the sharp line is really a there because there really is a sharp demarcation between the chapel and the auto. If you look at the other photos, you will see similarly sharp demarcations on the other vehicles.

It seems improbable that someone would take the effort to fake it--it's not like it's a photo of Britney humping Timberlake after all.
