Oh, I'm sure they get uber fluffed for the show. I own a poodle, and though I do not get him cut in the show-poodle way, I know how that works. Show poodles take a lot of fluffing before the show.
Still- I wonder if they scrunchie the hair out of their eyes while not in shows ;D
A. This is where Angora comes from, like Angora sweaters.. B. They grow wild like this, but shed profusely so they don't reach this amount of wool. 3. They are plucked at this point and start to grow another coat which takes about 8 weeks.
I used to raise these; had over 40 of em at one point...
40!!!! I would be scared to step into a room with a floor covered with these furry things, lest they nibble to down to a bleeding stump with thier I'm sure gnashing munching teeth.
Actually if I had one and a cat at the same time, I think that much fur would act as a kevlar jacket to make it cat proof or choke it on the amount of fur.
As amuzing as they are I'd be afraid to have any lest I get it confused with my couch pillows.
I really hope that they don't develop oozing orifices (diahrea, colds). That fur could get NASSSTTYY.
