My friend Carly designed this line of baby clothes. If you've ever struggled to get a baby into pants, you'll appreciate the design. Recommended!

I always just put my babies in dresses, regardless of sex. Dresses are so much easier!

I recently described them as "zip off stripper pants for babies" to a pregnant friend.

How do you keep squirmy squiggly baby from not accidentally catching pudgy baby legs in the zipper as you close it?

My thoughts exactly...as someone who has actually dressed a baby, not very practical.

However, if she were to put an extra strip of fabric behind the zippers, with velcro, one could velcro it shut and then zip it for security. Velcro doesn't hurt baby legs, and zippers would keep em shut.

Hi, I'm Carly! I'm Chris' friend who started Zypalong. Thanks for the feedback! It's always good to get unbiased information on my clothes.

When we were designing the clothes, we did think about how to prevent zipper injuries. There is a 1.5" soft cloth backing behind the zipper (similar to men's jeans). As you pull the zipper, the backing protects the baby's skin.

It usually takes me 30-40 seconds to snap pants, and 5 seconds to zip them up. For me, the zippers really made it easier to dress my son. It might not be easier for everyone.
